We are The North London and South Herts RoADAR Group & cover car training in area of north London & south Hertfordshire. All our tutors and committee members are volunteers & once you become a member all training that we provide via our tutors is free (note - the current waiting time is approximately 4 months). As a RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders Group we are a registered charity & currently have around 90 members.

Our aim is to promote safer driving. We do this by introducing associate members to the system of car control as laid out in Roadcraft: The Police Driver's Handbook. During training we will help you progress to the standard required to pass the RoSPA Advanced Driver Test.

We hold meetings at the community room within St Albans Fire Station at 153 London Road, St Albans, AL1 1TQ. We meet 4 times a year on the second Tuesday of the month during February, April, June, and October. Our next meeting is at 8pm on June the 11th 2019. You don't need to be a member to attend the meetings so please come along & say hello.

Attended a Speed Awareness Course?
We highly recommend that drivers who have attended a Speed Awareness Course consider undertaking the RoSPA EXPERIENCED DRIVER ASSESSMENT. This is an excellent way of having your driving assessed by an independent and highly qualified driver assessor. A full report is sent after your assessment, which will enable you to consider further training if required.
